Clan Donnachaidh are the descendants of the Celtic Earls of Athol. Donnachaidh Reamar “Stout Duncan” lead the clan at Bannochburn where they fought for the Great Bruce. Staunch supporters of the Jacobite cause, the Robertsons fought under Montrose and Bonnie Dundee and the 1715 and 1745 Risings. Motto “Virtutis Gloria Merces” (Glory is the reward of valor)
