Craig ClanClan Crest and Tartan
Craig is a toponym referring to a craggy rock prominence and the name is found throughout Scotland. This Aberdeenshire clan has long been associated with the Gordons. Craigfintray Castle in Kildrummie was the early home of the chiefs of the clan. Thomas Craig of Riccarton died in 1823. He was the last chief of the clan and left no male heirs. Motto “J’ai Bonne Esperance” (I have good hope)
