KILT ALTERATIONS
Over time many of us change our size but alas our kilts only allow for a couple of inches lee way up or down. After spending a small fortune on our kilts we hate to see them just hanging in the closet. Many kilts can be altered smaller or larger. I will not assert that "all" kilts can be altered. Some kilt manufactures do not leave enough yardage in critical facings (especially some of the newer casual Kilts). Older kilts that have fadded due to cleaning or age may not be altered due to the difference in the exposed fabric color. The good news is that with a phone call I can usually determine if a kilt is alterable and you havn't spent a dime! How Scottish is that!
